SCHOOL Early Help Support
Support from school for children and families - links to Support Agencies and Helplines
Riddings Junior School works to provide Early Help to families in our school community. From October 2019 we have been providing Early Help through our Inclusion Team. We work alongside a variety of agencies and are provide support through the school setting.
As part of our Early Help offer, the school is using the ELSA (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant) approach and have qualified practitioners in school who help deliver this provision to the children and families.
Early Help services aim to both provide advice and/or face to face support where there is evidence of emerging needs with a child or family with the aim of managing issues as early as possible and thereby stopping an escalation to higher level services.
PLEASE NOTE: Over the school holidays sign posting for other early help support is available on our school website (see below).
