In the next few weeks, we will be completing a Unit of Learning on Scratch. Over this week and next can you please familiarise yourself with the layout and structure of Scratch. Here is a unit to help you get started again! Use this week to 'play' with the settings.

Maths
Lesson 4: Multiply by 100 (worksheet and answers)
Today you will be recapping multiplication by 100. Please watch the taught video and then complete the worksheet and mark using your answers.
TTRockstars - Please complete 1 studio and 1 soundcheck and then spend at least 10 minutes practising your times tables.

Book Study: Chapter 7 - The Marvellous Ears

Can you listen to Chapter 7 being read. Then use prediction skills to predict who the BFG could visit and what their dreams might be.
Write sentences using your prediction and include a relative clause and pronoun (who, which and that)
Reading - Spend 10/15 minutes reading your school reading book (or your book at home) and then complete a quiz if you finish.
Spelling Frame - First complete a spelling test and then spend at least 20 minutes practising this week's spellings.
Geography
Can I identify the oceans and seas surrounding the UK?
Today is the final lesson on the UK. Read through the slides and complete the activities in the slides and use this to gather all of your learning on this topic.

Lesson 5: Multiply by 10, 100 and 1,000 (worksheet and answers)
Today's lesson you will need to put last Friday's and yesterday's learning together to practise multiplying numbers by 10, 100 and 1,000. You may see different ways of representing this too.

Can you get the GIST of the BFG when he speaks?
Use synonyms (another word that means the same) to describe the snozzcumbers

Today you will apply yesterday's learning on dividing by 10 to support you with dividing by 100. If you still find this tricky, go back and have another go at the dividing by 10 video.

A quiz to start your lesson!
Watch the two clips on your lesson all about drinking Frobscottle.
Write a different ending to this chapter. What could happen to Sophie and BFG when they drink the Frobscottle?

Computing challenge: Scratch: Shapes and flowers - using repetition
Hopefully, this week you have had a chance to visit Scratch and get yourself familiar again with the structure and how it works. Can you use the slides above to help you practise using repetition blocks to create different shapes and patterns?

Geography - If you've enjoyed our geography unit, why not try redesigning the Union Jack?
English - Can you write a postcard to someone that you admire? It could be someone in your family, a celebrity or a friend.
Art - Can you create a winter picture (like the snowy scene we designed before Christmas)? You can use anything you like to make this.
