Meals at Riddings Junior School are provided by Aspens Services and are freshly prepared on site, offering a healthy, balanced lunch every day. The menu is on a three-week rotation, offering hot meals, vegetarian options, salad, pasta and jacket potatoes along with yoghurt and fresh fruit.  The cost of meals is £3.25 per day and this is paid via Arbor Parent Portal.

In addition to the regular menu, throughout the year Aspens provides a range of themed and special menu days.  These will be advertised in advance when details are received from Aspens.

Free School Meals

Could free school meals help your family?

Pupils are all offered the same food and sit in the same area to eat. They don't have to have them every day, but it will save you money and time by making a packed lunch.

To ensure families do not miss out, we regularly check if parents have become eligible.

Register now and let us check if you are entitled. It could save you over £633.75 a year per child.

Schools will receive a pupil premium of £1,515 from the government for each child eligible for free school meals which is used to provide support to the children in school.  To find out more information or to apply for Free School Meals, Click here
