Free School Meals

Between April and November 2020, over 3,000 additional families across Derbyshire became eligible for free school meals. Could free school meals help your family?

Pupils are all offered the same food and sit in the same area to eat. They don't have to have them every day, but it will save you money and time in making a packed lunch.

To ensure families do not miss out we regularly check if parents have become eligible.

Register now and let us check if you are entitled, it could save you over £470 a year per child.

Schools will receive pupil premium of £1,000 from the government for each child eligible for free school meals which is used for additional teaching resources.
